You can expect a 20% reduction in hair after each treatment! An average of 6 treatments will be needed per area. Results and number of treatments will vary patient to patient.

Until sensitivity has completely subsided, you should avoid make-up, scented lotions/soaps/deodorants, exfoliants (Retin-A, glycolic/salicylic and alpha-hydroxy acids), acne creams or gels, loofah sponges, and aggressive scrubbing, hot or cold water, shaving, swimming pools and spas, and activity that causes excessive sweating.
After your treatment, you may experience the following:

• Coagulopathy, excessive bleeding (hemorrhages), hematomas
• Use of anticoagulant medication
• History of deep vein thrombosis in the treatment area
• High or low blood pressure (taking medication)
• History of photosensitivity or use of medication that increases the photosensitivity of the skin between 6 months and 1 year prior to treatment, or herbs (St. John’s Wort.) 2 weeks prior to treatment
• Use of Accutane (isotretinoin, Roaccutane) in the last 6 months
• Vitiligo or a tendency towards hypopigmentation
• Tendency towards keloid formation or deterioration of the healing process
• History or evidence of any chronic or reoccurring skin disease or disorder (e.g. psoriasis).

Commonly experienced is discomfort or pain, skin redness and swelling, folliculitis. More uncommon are burns, hematoma, external irritation, contact dermatitis or irritant dermatitis. Blistering or crusting, pigmentation, herpes outbreak, paradoxical hypertrichosis. Very rarely, urticaria vasculitis, erythema reticularis, bigemini pili, purpura.
