Growth Factors
Platelet derived growth factors are the most important catalyst for healing whether we are extracting them from a patient’s blood sample or using a recombinant technology like Ariessence. They are the first responders to an area of injury.
In general, growth factors are proteins that stimulate collagen and elastin production. They promote skin cell turnover and skin cell growth. Specially, they are in charge of increasing production of collagen type I, III, VI and fibronectin. By using these growth factors in a variety of medical and aesthetic services, we are able to reduced downtime, increased dermal thickening, proliferate hair growth and increase elasticity and collagen in skin.
