Lights, lasers, action!
At Trouve Medpsa, we offer light based and laser therapies to prevent, treat and correct your skin concerns.
The BBL Hero (BroadBand Light therapy) treatment uses pulsed light to correct unwanted red and brown pigment in the skin while stimulating collagen production. It can also treat inflammatory acne. BBL is even a great option for patients without any specific skin concerns as it “turns off” aging genes and “turns on” youthful genes (aka you can age in reverse over time). BBL is a treatment with minimal downtime. You may have some mild swelling for 2-3 days post treatment. It is most typically done in a treatment series, with maintenance every 6 months. It is important to know that BBL should not be done on tanned skin so most patients prefer to do this treatment in the Fall/Winter months.
The Moxi laser uses a gentle approach to skin resurfacing. It corrects uneven pigmentation and improves the skin's tone and texture. This laser is also a great option for patients with melasma. We love this laser because it is safe for all skin types and very customizable. This treatment has minimal downtime, mild swelling for 1-2 days and a sand paper feeling and appearance to your skin for 5-7 days. For best results, this treatment is done in a series.
The Halo laser is a one-of-a-kind treatment that resurfaces the skin and reduces signs of aging. This laser is best for fine lines, acne scarring, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores, and uneven skin tone. After a Halo laser treatment, swelling and redness is expected. Most swelling will resolve after 3-5 days and your skin will be glowing in 7 days. The Halo laser will yield full results 4-6 months post treatment. Halo laser provides best results when done two times about two months apart and can be maintained with 1 treatment per year.
The ClearSilk laser is a gentle laser that treats redness and rosacea, while also targeting fine lines, wrinkles, acne, acne scars and pigment. ClearSilk is a great option for patients who cannot have any downtime at all. It is best done in a treatment series with maintenance treatments to keep your skin glowing.
The ClearV laser is a gentle laser that delivers targeted heat to eliminate unwanted veins and vessels that are visible below the skin's surface. Results are gradual and typically a second treatment is necessary for best results.
